At the age of 13, after receiving a bad haircut a friend at the time influenced me into wearing hair extensions. After wearing my first "glued-in" set of hair extensions (terrible) it was an instant love that lead me into exploring and loving the hair extension world. Looking back at some of the funniest moments when I started wearing hair extensions would definetely have to be when kids from my middle school would ask "Are you bald?" They couldn't bare to understand why I would wear hair extensions which at the time were referred to as a "weave". Priceless moments that turned into a lifelong passion of mine.

This requirement varies by state. Please check your states cosmetology license rules and regulations website. In the state of Florida hair extensions are considered a braiding service, therefore you don’t need a cosmetology license to perform hair extension services.
